Dr. Lawrence Wong was glad to act as an Industrial Practitioner & Adjunct Professor to represent CityU to talk on 25 March to a group of very senior Russian Gov Officers, including 8 Deputy Ministers from Russian Federation and many Governors from various Russian regions.

This time Dr Wong’s talk was about “Modern Economies – Their Impacts to Businesses and Government Policies”, where he described how the 5 business models work, including Sharing Economy, Customer Oriented, Fragmented Market, Outcome Economy and Platform Strategy, how they create business values and how services are delivered under the Big Data Era.

The class particularly focuses on what Government should do to support Modern Economy such as policies, business regulations, governance mechanisms, incentives should be established to drive and support the development of New Economy.
